My approach is collaborative, flexible, and engaging. I believe that change is sustainable when it involves community support, so I like to get everyone involved in the solution! In both therapy and assessment, I utilize a strengths-based perspective that highlights clients' natural resources and supports and makes space for positive change. More than anything else, I believe in the importance of relationships in our mental health, and I focus on developing a strong alliance as we work toward your goals.

I have trained extensively in work with children and adolescents struggling with mood, impulse control, and behavior disorders and families who have been impacted by trauma. I have trained in cognitive-behavioral, family systems, art, narrative and psychodynamic therapeutic approaches and I use a flexible approach to personalize treatment.

I offer psychological assessments based on the collaborative therapeutic model. I view the assessment process as an intervention that allows children and their families to better understand themselves, their strengths, and their struggles while building stronger relationships with one another. This allows real change to develop throughout the testing process.
