I have over 30 years' experience as a clinician, published researcher and educator. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Masters in Health Psychology. I have developed programs including Stress Management, Insomnia control and Meditation for programs such as Kaiser Permanente. This diversity of experience, allows me to help people understand their thinking processes, identify patterns of behavior and make sustainable changes. I strive to empower people to change both their behaviors and beliefs to allow them to achieve overall well-being and happiness. I work with children, adolescents, and families. My orientation is predominately psychodynamic. However, I tailor my approach to the individual needs of the client. In my work with children, I take a child-centered approach, using modalities such as play or talk therapy to help the child express his or her feelings and experiences that are often difficult to put into words.

If you are suffering from medication resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, or PTSD, a combination of talk therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) may be the answer for you.
