I'm Magan, a client centered, Solution Focused therapist who has been working in the field of addiction and codependency with adolescents and adults since I began practicing. Since then I found through the use of 12 step work, along with continuous therapy, individuals, couples, and families saw the change they were seeking. I believe you are the one who holds the solutions to your desired outcomes and I am simply the one who is honored to help navigate and process those with you.
Majority of my career has been in public schools and Outpatient services, helping those with substance abuse issues and problematic behaviors that has resulted in alternative school or incarceration. I specialize in codependency, relational problems, addiction, and helping families affected by addiction. I am trained in Gottman's couples therapy and EMDR.
Though I am a more direct straight forward counselor, I understand change can be hard and scary for everyone. I believe once you surrender to the problem, you will develop the solutions, and then change will come to you.
