Dr. Jenkins received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Bradley University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University. Dr. Jenkins trained at the Center for Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital and at the Anxiety Centers of Illinois. She has treated anxiety in various environments including inpatient settings, outpatient settings, group therapy formats, as well as completing in vivo exposures within the home and community settings.
Dr. Jenkins believes that confronting anxiety is an effective way of reducing it. Often times anxiety disorders and OCD thrive in specific environments, unique to the individual experiencing them.
