I have had a continued interest in mental health and supporting others, drawing me to become a counselor for children, teens, and adults. For three years, I worked with neurodiverse children in treatment centers, homes, and the school setting, giving me the experience of building my foundational counseling skills leading up to my time as a counselor. I accept children and teens starting at age 6 and up. I also accept adults and couples as well, and am available to help you work through a variety of concerns. I do accept clients both in-person and online.
I use a person-centered approach to counseling, with the integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) while looking through a multicultural lens.
I believe that therapy should be tailored to each individual, empowering them to be seen, heard, and supported on their unique journeys. I prioritize collaboration in the therapeutic environment and ensure that you are as comfortable as can be within the space. I understand that while therapy can be difficult, sometimes a good laugh is needed as well.
