Sometimes people just need someone to listen - to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can be themselves. When people are struggling with hopelessness and helplessness, they also need someone to walk alongside them as a guide toward the solutions that work for their individualized struggles and goals. I work with a broad range of clientele, but I have extensive experience in working with the following clinical populations: eating disorders, substance abuse, individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I enjoy incorporating humor into my approach & always strive to make my clients feel comfortable. I believe that an authentic & deep connection is fundamental to the therapeutic relationship & ultimately reaching my clients' goals. I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of my clients, and I always draw on their strengths.
I know how difficult it can be to take that first step into improving your mental health. I will always hold space & compassion for how challenging it is to overcome life's obstacles.
