My name is Madison Bruns and I am a Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My goal is to walk with you on your journey and provide support along the way. You lead, I follow.
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, youth and their families. Primarily focusing on using a variety of evidence-based modalities and a strengths-based approach. It is my intention to help individuals of all ages achieve their personal goals, express themselves, and pursue meaningful growth.
My approach is straight-forward, honest, humorous, and compassionate. I emphasize building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and their families to foster a safe, inclusive, and comfortable environment. I will never ask a client to discuss something before they are ready or complete a task I myself would not do.
My experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families navigate various challenges including but not limited to anger management, anxiety, behavioral challenges, life transitions, parenting, interpersonal communication, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, generational trauma, internet safety, and developmentally appropriate behaviors.
