About
You deserve a counselor who meets you where you're at, who you can trust to help find the right way forward for you. You may have been looking for help for a while and have given up hope that things can be better. At A Way Forward Counseling, I strive to create the safe and equitable space that is necessary for growth. I use a collaborative, harm-reducing approach to assist in meaningful change for folks who consult me. My practice is neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming, and HAES-informed.
I understand that problems are larger than your thoughts or behavior – but are rooted in your relational systems and social contexts. With me, people can receive comprehensive care through individual, couple, and/or family counseling. I specialize and have been trained in narrative therapy combined with other collaborative treatment modalities.
Everyone is welcome at A Way Forward Counseling. I center the needs of diverse and marginalized groups. If you're interested in receiving services, please reach out or check out my website. Transparency is a priority and I want to ensure that all of your questions are answered. Choosing a therapist is tough - but I hope it doesn't have to be any longer.
