I'm Dr. Nagel (they/them) and I'm here to help you get “unstuck” from old beliefs, habits, and strategies that just aren’t working anymore. You might feel buried under anxiety, panic, or trauma. You might want to embrace your most authentic self, but fear and uncertainty are keeping you stuck. Or perhaps you’re feeling worn down from the effort of navigating spaces that aren’t meant for LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, or people of color. As a licensed clinical psychologist and a nonbinary person, I am deeply familiar with the experience of navigating a world that doesn’t feel designed for me.
If you’re here, you might feel as if you’ve already tried everything to stop feeling “bad.” I blend psychological science with an understanding that you are the expert on your own mind and experiences. In one-on-one sessions, I will work with you to embrace your goals and develop skills to move toward a life worth living.
Additionally, I offer assessments for adults who may have ADHD, autism, or who need an evaluation for readiness for gender-affirming care. If you are prepared to start on a path toward gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and building your most authentic life, then I am ready to help.
