Most of the first responders I work with are used to handling things on their own. They show up, do the job, and keep moving. Over time, the stress and experiences start to stack up. You might notice you are more on edge, checked out, or not bouncing back the way you used to. That is usually the point where people reach out. My goal is to help you feel more steady, think clearly, and have a better handle on things day to day.
I help first responders work through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, burnout, grief, substance use, and the overall impact of the job. I use EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you process what has been building up and regain a sense of control.
As a first responder spouse, I understand the culture and how this work can affect life outside the job. I also support partners and couples navigating the impact of this work. You are used to pushing through and handling things on your own. Therapy can be a space where you do not have to carry it alone. When you are ready to get to work, I am here.
