It is difficult to grow and heal when we are constantly viewing ourselves as a problem. Using the narrative method, I encourage individuals to create their own narratives, understand the picture of their life, and trust in themselves and their inherent worth. My practice centers individual and communal strengths as key to healing and transformation.
Using approachability, active listening, and integrity, I support people to focus on their goals, show up for themselves, and utilize interdependence to grow and adapt. I work well with individuals who seek to reflect, flail, fail, celebrate, cry, process, and be, without judgement.
I have 5 years of experience specializing in treatment for adults diagnosed with anxiety and depression, LGBTQIA clients, people who use drugs, sex workers, individuals in recovery, and individuals who are unhoused or formerly unhoused.
As a queer provider, I uphold values of authenticity, chosen family, and collective liberation from oppressive forces such as capitalism. I utilize harm reduction when addressing behavioral health, substance use, or sex work, to prioritize self-determination, nonjudgement, and access to an array of options with the goal of uprooting internalized stigma.
