As a therapist, I am here to help you develop insight into your behaviors and how they serve you. Together, we can work through “the whys” and help you shift the way you think and act. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. I pull from person-centered and psychodynamic theories, CBT, and ACT in my work, but always work to collaborate with clients and tailor sessions toward your needs.
After recovering from an eating disorder myself, I have a unique understanding and empathy when it comes to working with disordered eating, body-image, and self-esteem issues. I’ve worked with teens and adults in multiple settings. I am a HAES-aligned clinician, meaning that I believe that your personal well-being is more important than a number on a scale.
In addition to eating disorders, I am passionate about working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, adjustment concerns, high school and college students, identity, and more.
