About
Compassion and mindfulness are at the core of my client relationships. I offer therapeutic space for individuals, children, and families, that centralizes racial, cultural, and intergenerational trauma; attachment needs; and emotional awareness. I work with children and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, attachment ruptures, and trauma. Many people come to me because they have anxiety, relationship difficulties, or are worried about their child's behavior and mood. My style is sincere and empathetic. In our sessions, you may expect laughter, tears, emotional warmth, and transparency.
I work with teen/adult individuals and children/families. Children speak through play and use toys, art, stories, movement, and metaphor to explain how and what they are feeling. I work with adult individuals and families in the same spirit; by focusing on helping them find contentment and peace through their strengths, imagination and self-awareness.
Like you, I contain multitudes. I am a parent, a spouse, a child, a sibling, a friend, a client, a student, and a teacher. And like you, I exist in the world seeking communion and connection with others. I hope to hear from you soon.
