I am a child and teen therapist that specializes in helping kids and teens manage their feelings, anxieties and impulses. I support my clients to understand and verbalize their feelings as well improve social skills. I use both talk therapy and play therapy depending on the developmental level of my client. I view parents and myself as a team working together to help your child become the best version of themselves. I am a Certified AutPlay Provider, a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and I am EMDR trained.
I have had the opportunity to work with clients throughout the lifespan, but working with kids and teens is my passion. Kids often times struggle to express their feelings and teens tend to feel unheard. I work with my client's to give them a voice and help them learn to advocate for themselves.
Sometimes kid's struggles are too big to handle alone. Working with me gives you and your child a new support system to aid in the process of working through the struggle.
