Hi all! Whether you've got a specific pattern you want to change or not sure where to start, I show up ready to attune to you and be flexible. I can lead a guided meditation, offer questions for reflection, let you vent and feel your feelings, come up with a creative activity, or use body/breath movement to ground– whatever you need in that moment. Therapy doesn't have to be just ONE way. I also weave in "parts work" and can do attachment-based EMDR to resource and heal.
Ultimately the benefit of therapy is in connection. I lead with genuine-ness and humanity so that we can connect and you can heal the parts you came to heal.
My specialties are in skills training (teaching you how to listen to and work with your own nervous system); parts work (letting go of shame, allowing "stuck" patterns to shift); EMDR (using bilateral stimulation to heal from trauma or "unhook" from unhelpful narratives); & family therapy (slowing down/improving communication and feeling more connected).
Whether to make huge changes or just tiny improvements in your life, having an unbiased someone there to witness, encourage and talk through things can be SO beneficial. If you are considering therapy and find my approach interesting, please reach out. Initial consultation is free and it gives you a good sense of whether or not we could work well together!
