About
Not currently accepting new clients. In a world full of unpredictability, change, and painful experiences, we all can struggle. In the face of the many factors that are out of our control, understanding ourselves is critical to taking ownership over our own lives and well-being. As a therapist, I can help you to: acclimate during/after major life transitions or trauma, recognize and change patterns that aren’t working for you, and identify coping skills. I am especially passionate about helping people with: exploring their identities, developing self-acceptance and compassion, and cultivating a fulfilling life.
My approach is eclectic. I draw on psychodynamic theory to help you explore the significance of earlier life experiences as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused approaches to help you identify concrete steps you can take to make life changes.
My background is in working with adults. Some of the main populations I see include: immigrants or children of immigrants, college students, young professionals, and creatives. I provide telehealth services to clients all over New York state. If you are interested, please email me and we can discuss setting up a free phone consultation.
