Life brings challenges and uncertainty that may leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and those around us. I believe therapy can help in facing, addressing, and overcoming the challenges that we’re presented with. I help others with challenges relevant to addiction, anxiety, relationship struggles, self-esteem concerns, and trauma. I currently work with folks ages 15 and up.
I am trained in EMDR. I use a lot of mindfulness and existential approaches to help others explore themselves and find meaning in their lives. I also believe it’s important to have tools that can provide more immediate relief, so I incorporate CBT and DBT skills, as well.
I recognize that initiating therapy can also be a challenge, and I want to make that process as smooth as possible. I show up to work with a relational, person-centered approach, meaning I will meet you where you’re at and take time to forge an authentic relationship with you. I strongly believe that humor and curiosity go a long way and value your feedback.
