By building a safe-enough relationship, we will explore how all internal and external forces throughout your life shape who you are and how you navigate the world today. This deep understanding - driven by nonjudgment, curiosity, humility, and compassion - is the key to enacting change and improving your life (whatever that means to you). I primarily practice from a trauma-informed, relational/attachment psychodynamic lens, but often integrate components of CBT, DBT, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and family systems theory.
My specialties are addressing trauma/C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, self-harm, grief, suicidal ideation, loneliness, and identity exploration. I have ample experience with chronic illness, eating disorders and OCD. It is always essential to consider how injustices, oppression, and harm perpetuated by our world contribute to symptom presentation.
I identify as a biracial (Filipino & white) cisgender female (she/her). I received my MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and my bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.
