Macy Williamson became a counselor to help individuals and families heal, thrive, and live out their personal journeys. She believes we are all working to be the best version of ourselves and hopes to help her clients through whatever season they honor sharing with her. Oftentimes, life will throw curveballs and clients have to learn how to navigate the stressors those can bring. As a counselor, Macy hopes to do just that by using different techniques and theories catered to the needs of the client.
Macy graduated with her PhD from Texas Tech University and has worked for a medical clinic, school district, and counseling center. She utilizes Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, trauma-focused therapy, social skills training, and premarital counseling.
