About
Therapy is a unique experience for each person. It helps you learn about yourself, your relationships and how you interact with the world. It can be a place to find healing and self-understanding. I believe that society and culture impact our thoughts, feelings, and relationships. As a counselor, my approach is integrative, but grounded in attachment theory. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling. For couples therapy, I utilize Emotionally Focussed Therapy, which is backed by over 20 years of research on attachment relationship patterns. Research shows that approximately 90% of couples show significant improvements.
I have helped my clients with a wide range of concerns including life transitions, depression, anxiety, family conflicts, adoption, and relationship issues. Other specialities include LGBTQIA issues, grief, depression and stress management.
Addressing issues or concerns can be hard, but you don't have to do it alone. Counseling will help you navigate feeling alone, misunderstood, or stuck in life. Therapy can be a big step. It is my goal to empower you and help you learn more about yourself through the therapeutic process.
