Hi, and welcome! I’m Mackenzie. I’m a Resident in Counseling, currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
I have spent much of my time in the mental health field working with adolescents, teens, and young adults, and I am deeply passionate about the work I do. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while tailoring sessions to their unique needs and goals.
I have experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma related issues. I aim to meet each person where they are, offering support that is thoughtful, personalized, and compassionate.
