Hi, I'm Mackenzie! My strongest beliefs about the therapeutic relationship I create with someone is upholding authenticity and cultivating a safe environment for exploration, depth, and discovery. My goal within counseling is to empower my clients to be in the driver’s seat of their session and their life. My approach to the work we will do is understanding and strengthening the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors with a somatic integration that intertwines the mind-body connection while strengthening our knowledge of interpersonal dynamics at play.
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) with 3+ years of clinical experience in the field. I have experience working with teens and adults in the counseling setting on a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, and developing and maintaining helpful coping skills to promote overall well-being.
