I have experience working in outpatient private practice, inpatient, hospital, community mental health, & school settings since 2013. My primary areas of focus and clinical experience includes helping adults with anxiety, depression, self esteem, anger, health issues (illness and injury), relational issues/stresses, life transitions, grief, loss, & trauma. I strive to create a safe & nonjudgemental environment in which the individuals I work with can explore their pain & distresses while also working to create meaning and growth.
I received my Bachelors in Psychology & Masters in Counseling Psychology from SNU. I also completed a year-long course of Foundations of Psychoanalytic Thought through the Oklahoma Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
I believe people are more than a sum of symptoms & strive to incorporate the whole person into the therapeutic process . I believe healing occurs through the relationship between the therapist & client.
