Entering therapy services can feel like the “last hope approach,” but therapy is for everyone, at any time in life. I passionately hold space with clients using a warm, inquisitive, affirming approach. I understand the daunting experience of entering sessions to face the often exiled parts of ourselves, and process challenging, confusing narratives. Though, like any great novel, we re-write our story throughout the therapeutic process. Our pages will flip, shift, and often get completely torn out to be revised, making for the most imperfectly beautiful story.
My therapy style is theoretically eclectic, often leaning into humanistic, existential techniques. My therapeutic modalities carry an essence of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative, attachment, and creative/play therapy. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
I help guide clients back to the plot, where pain tells its story, deeper trauma wounds are processed, and we begin to understand how our unmet needs and attachment styles play a role in keeping us stuck in undesirable patterns. As we work together, you will never be simply observed, but instead fully witnessed and accompanied.
