As humans, I believe we need a soft place to land. Being in the world brings with it a variety of feelings, thoughts, and sensations, but often we struggle to find space in our lives to process these experiences. I believe the connection and safety offered through individual therapy creates an opportunity to name the parts of us that feel painful or confusing or joyful — to allow us to move toward greater self-acceptance by noticing and being heard.
I am a mental health counselor and a poet. My passion for language informs my work as a counselor because I have a strong belief in the power of naming. I have experience working with adults who are suffering with the questions and symptoms of living, including grief, depression, anxiety, & self-esteem. My style is warm, strengths-based, & person-centered.
I am here to meet you where you are, as you are. If you are interested in scheduling a session, I encourage you to reach out to me via email or phone to see if we would be a good fit.
