Hi, I’m Mackenzie. I have a background in psychology and social work and am currently pursuing my doctorate in clinical psychology. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, identity concerns, anger, and major life transitions. I have a strong focus on men’s mental health and often work with men who feel pressure to “figure it out on their own,” have a hard time opening up, or aren’t used to talking about what they’re experiencing. At the same time, I work with clients of all backgrounds and strive to meet each person where they’re at.
My clinical experience is primarily in correctional settings and psychiatric hospitals, as well as supporting individuals and families in the community. I also have a strong interest in working with minority populations and provide care that is culturally responsive, direct, and grounded.
My approach is straightforward, compassionate, and client-centered. Reaching out can feel weird and that’s okay. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a place to talk, I’m here for it.
