I am a licensed social worker with experience providing therapy to adults who are looking to make changes in their life. I believe therapy is a useful tool to learn new ways of coping with challenges and to gain insight into our self, our relationships, and life experiences that shape who we are as people and how we live our lives. My current practice has been focused working with adults experiencing anxiety and/or depression and coping with difficult challenges in life, such as life transitions, career concerns, family conflicts, or relationship stress.
I am trained in a variety of modalities (CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, Relational therapy). I have worked as a clinician in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. I also have extensive experience working with neurological illness, chronic medical illness, and caregivers.
My style is warm, interactive, and direct and I incorporate a variety of techniques into my approach. I feel it is a privilege to be let into the lives of my clients and I take a collaborative approach to my work.
