I believe people can get better if they want to. Their lives won't be perfect, but they will be a whole lot better, with therapy. People who engage in therapy with me will hopefully be able to cope with whatever life throws at them by the time we're done.
After therapy, most of the people I see thrive in their lives. They begin to find their best self and they pursue it.
I guess that's it: It's my job to help people find their best self, and I like my job.
Updated 5/20/2022: We have CURRENT telehealth (video) openings for clients located anywhere in Connecticut due to adding new therapists to our team! We also have limited openings for people located in Massachusetts and Texas. We accept MA and CT Insurances and private pay (sliding scale). School, work, family, relationships, LIFE...they can all be stressful, overwhelming and seemingly unmanageable sometimes. Going to therapy for the first time, or starting over again with a new therapist can be intimidating. Combining your expertise (you are always the expert on you) and ours, we will work to overcome barriers to happiness.
Do you feel unheard or invalidated? Do you tell yourself, "I shouldn't be feeling this way"? Maybe you're a first, second or third time mom having unwanted or scary thoughts. Is parenthood not everything you imagined it to be? If so, you are not alone. Even if you are doing the very best you can, it is still easy to think it is not enough. Our moods and stress have their way of taking over and make us think we no longer have power over our thoughts and emotions. I want to help you take that control back. We will create a space to express and work through your thoughts and emotions freely-without judgement.
Hello, I am grateful you chose to start your therapy journey with me. Therapy is a safe place to help us feel better about upsetting/confusing events we have experienced. We learn important things about those upsetting/confusing events and related feelings; the ways to relax; and how to stay safe. We learn about ourselves, our thoughts, feelings, actions, strengths, and our dreams! We learn through talking, drawing, writing, taking roles, mindfulness, movement, and play. You're the main reason for this therapy relationship, feel empowered to build goals with me that will highlight the strength and power already within you.
You are feeling drained. As a professional woman, you are used to having a full plate and juggling things. I am guessing your plate is now a platter and things are falling onto the floor, including your resilience. You want help but you don't want to burden others. Also, you are not even sure exactly what kind of help you need. You just know what you are doing isn't working and you want to get back to yourself. I truly get it...and I can help. Check out my website and learn more about me. If it resonates, then schedule a consultation to ensure we are a good fit. I know that this is tiring; you do not have to do this alone.
Hello, My name is Jordan Wilson. I am an outpatient therapist at Clearview Health & Wellness Group in Longmeadow, MA. I received my Bachelor’s of Social Work at Delaware state University in Dover, DE. I then went on to Springfield College in Springfield, MA where I received my MSW at the school of social work. Over the course of receiving an education I came to realize that when human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel.
I have a lot of experience treating children and adults with ADHD and Autism. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is very effective for treating Depression and Anxiety disorders such as OCD, and Social Anxiety.
My Name is Deborah Aloisi, I'm an independent social worker in Massachusetts, offering individual and couples counseling. Solutions can come at the speed of life starting in the moment with Rational Emotive Behavioral therapy and sometimes Gestalt theories to explore repeated patterns. Often with anxiety the creative brain is turned off leading to depression. The creative state of mind can be reactivated leading to better outcomes; with individuals, codependency, family systems regarding addiction, and people who are coping with adjustments to a new and stressful life-events. All phone messages are returned for appointments.

We all endure suffering at some point in our lives. Therapy is a place to reflect on ourselves and what we can learn from this suffering. Whether it is ruminating on the past, struggling to cope with present stressors, or planning for the future, it only makes us human to feel vulnerable at these times. As your therapist, I look forward to hearing your story and working together to reach your goals.
