Accepting new clients! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker working to treat individuals with anxiety, OCD, life transitions and eating disorders. I value a person centered approach and believe strongly in my client driving the therapy session. I am trained in the Hakomi method, a somatic therapy, and work to incorporate a mindful component to all of my sessions. I provide care that recognizes the unique traits of each client’s experience allowing them to connect to their inner self. My goal is for my clients to feel deeply cared for, so that they are no longer alone in their challenges.

Hi, I am currently accepting new clients, but please reach out inquire about my availability as it can vary. A large part of my focus is on helping people who are experiencing problems in relationships, but I also see many people who may be struggling with anxiety, panic, or depression for other reasons. For couples, my work often involves healing from affairs, having difficult conversations, helping a couple reconnect again. For Individuals with relational issues, it is often about interrupting and healing from repeated patterns of meeting the wrong person(s), or helping to better cope with the impact of anxiety or depression.

Working with clients who have experienced trauma, day to day anxiety, depression and other diagnoses, I prefer to use a holistic understanding of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and world around us. I collaborate closely with clients to integrate mindfulness practices, somatic experiencing techniques, and other holistic modalities into our work, along with evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Experienced in relational trauma, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and anxiety in youth and young adults, I also work extensively with parents battling a loss of identity, mood changes, and increased worry. I aim to shift focus and help parents celebrate their children, creating an opportunity for connection. Parents learn to acknowledge their past traumas and patterns to address inherited dynamics and identify successes they can reflect on. I assist in identifying what is working and building on strengths. The end goal is a renewed parental sense of identity and clarity and a more united and understanding family unit.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed in RI and MA. for the past 21 years. I have extensive professional experience working within and across systems, as well as with individuals across the developmental lifespan including teens and young adults. I also provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and have supported many clients through their gender transition.I provide individual and family therapy.

I have more than 19 years of experience collaborating with clients to successfully address a variety of behavioral, relationship and challenging life issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, life transitions, substance abuse and infidelity. I utilize a number of therapeutic modalities, depending on the issue to be addressed, including cognitive behavioral, humanistic, self psychology, motivational interviewing and EMDR.
