Life doesn't always fit neatly into a box, and neither do the people I work with. I welcome adults from all walks of life who may be navigating major life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, complex mental health concerns, or challenges involving the legal system or family services. I also enjoy working with individuals exploring non-traditional relationships, alternative spiritual paths, and identities that may not always feel understood or accepted by those around them.

Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Gottman method
Clients I’ve worked with longest include those in addiction recovery, couples facing relationship challenges, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals carrying past experiences that still take up space in their minds and lives. We all rely on what we know to find freedom, connection, and well‑being—but sometimes those strategies stop working. I help people discover new ways to connect—with each other and with themselves. Many adults now turn to AI for mental health support, but nothing replaces human connection, experience, and guidance for true healing.

With expertise in CBT, DBT, and acceptance-based approaches, I help clients overcome anxiety, improve self-esteem, and create meaningful change.
Therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as yourself, especially when life feels overwhelming or unclear. I work with adolescents and adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their direction in life. A lot of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally dealing with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Together, we focus on understanding what’s going on, noticing patterns, and figuring out what actually helps you feel more grounded and like yourself again.

I tailor my approach to what you need, drawing on CBT, DBT, EMDR, and person-centered therapy- because no two people are the same, and treatment shouldn't be either.
Holy Cow, adulting is hard. But you don't have to do it alone. Whether you're juggling classes, figuring out relationships, questioning everything, or just feeling like you're barely keeping it together- that's real, and it makes sense. Life throws a lot at you all at once, and sometimes anxiety, depression, or a major transition can make it feel completely overwhelming. I specialize in working with older adolescents and young adults navigating exactly this stuff: school stress, relationship changes, identity, life transitions, and the emotional weight of it all.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.

Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behavior and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.

What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behavior, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.

How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioral change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behavior; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
