In my blended practice of mental health counseling and art therapy, I work with families, adults, and children, supporting them in identifying resources and strengths to regain emotional health. In sessions, we work together using the approach that best suits my clients' needs--- art therapy using hands-on creative projects to gently encourage self-expression and gain insight; cognitive behavioral therapy to positively shift thoughts and feelings; and dialectical behavior therapy to enhance mindfulness and increase resilience. Through this therapeutic work, clients develop ways to resolve their issues--- relieving depression, managing anxiety, positively changing behavior, processing trauma, healing from abuse.
