I have had the privilege to serve as a clinical social worker for over 15 years to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am incredibly respectful in assisting each client achieve their personal and emotional goals. It is my personal commitment as a therapist to assist individuals with becoming comfortable with their true self, enhancing their relationship skills, and developing their abilities to manage any adversity that arises in their life. I am particularly skilled in treating anxiety disorders, severe depression, and trauma.

Leslie Glazer, PhD is a Licensed Psychologist-Doctorate in Vermont with over 25 years experience practicing psychotherapy in a variety of settings. He has experience in the use of cognitive, psychodynamic, interpersonal, and mindfulness approaches to assist individuals and families navigate the stresses, anxieties, mood disturbances and problems in living they may encounter as they move through their lives. Leslie works with school age children and adults.

I work with individuals who want to improve the quality of their lives and couples who are having difficulty with communication or resolving conflict. My work is to understand the difficulties in the context of the whole person. Together we identify and remove the obstacles that interfere with having a more meaningful life.

I often find current notions of “behavioral” or “mental” health to be rooted in an inaccurate medical paradigm, and so I prefer to consider social/emotional/spiritual wellbeing; “psyche” literally means “the soul” and thus I see the goal of psychotherapy as to help heal the soul. Depression and anxiety are understandable responses to problematic situations, and I enjoy helping to unravel the complicated dynamics of your lived experience in order to achieve your goals. I often work with people around issues of gender, identity, and culture; I also enjoy working with creative people, and people navigating challenging life transitions.

I am a compassionate and dedicated Chinese counselor. Being a Chinese woman myself, I have a profound understanding of the unique challenges that Asian individuals face in the American context. I strongly believe that culture plays a significant role in shaping our mental health. It influences our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Recognizing this, I am committed to empowering Asian individuals living in the United States.

I have over 10 years in working with individuals that have experienced traumas in intimate partner and family violence. I am committed to supporting individuals to find that surviving self-love that lives within them, especially when feelings of brokenness and hopelessness is the only vision.
