Welcome. I work with women of all ages, helping them to be their best selves throughout their lifespan, finding strengths and answers to create the life they desire. My style is interactive and eclectic, meaning my tool box is deep to allow various approaches to meet you where you are. The client sets the pace and timeframe. Sometimes we work together a short time, other times for longer periods. I have many clients who return for short "tune ups" as life challenges arise.

Are you at that point where you just know it's time to seek support?
Maybe you've tried to manage things on your own, but it's not working anymore. Maybe something major just happened. Or maybe the day-to-day stress has built up, and you know something has to change but aren't sure what. I help people who are ready to explore what's beneath their symptoms and challenges.

I am not currently accepting new clients. As a therapist, I have a particular interest in working with families and couples, focusing on understanding the dynamics within relationships and developing healthy communication patterns to create lasting positive change for individuals and their loved ones. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, providing gender affirming therapy and addressing LGBTQ+ needs. I understand that each person's journey is unique, and I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space, providing inclusive and compassionate care where emotions can be explored and healing can occur.

I believe that everyone is in the process of change. We have worked to become whe are now, and we will continue to grow into ourselves. That is why I do not judge people, but instead help clients to accept and appreciate their struggles as a foundation for healing. Very little shocks or surprises me, so I am particularly well-suited to issues of sexuality and personal expression and associated issues of shame and fear. I also have an affinity for those with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief, and couples' issues. My primary method is Cognitive-Behavioral talk therapy.

Updated 5/20/26. School, work, family, relationships, LIFE...they can all be stressful, overwhelming and seemingly unmanageable sometimes. Going to therapy for the first time, or starting over again with a new therapist can be intimidating. Combining your expertise (you are always the expert on you) and mine, we will work to overcome barriers to happiness.

It takes a lot of courage to seek out a therapist, essentially a complete stranger, to talk to about your most intimate feelings and dilemmas. Allow me to help along your life's journey, to aid in the discovery of your strengths, and move forward in the next step of growth and mental wellbeing. I believe it is important to meet clients where they are at in their self-discovery by utilizing a positive, non-judgmental approach to support the person's individual goals. Sometimes all it takes is a gentle listener to assist in the next step of change in viability.

Rachel is a social worker who is passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community — a community that she is also proudly a part of. During sessions, Rachel strives to foster a safe environment where anything can be brought up without judgment. She has been described as a calming presence and someone who is easy to talk to. It can be difficult to reach out for support in general, but it can be even more so for BIPOC individuals and those who are living with chronic pain and/or chronic illness. Rachel takes great care to make sessions a comfortable place to be authentically who you are.

Growing up on Cape Cod, I learned early that the ocean has a unique way of grounding us. Nature has always reminded me that healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about returning to who we truly are. I believe each of us already holds the strength and wisdom needed to heal, reconnect with our authentic selves, and rediscover our personal True North. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to walk beside you as you find your own direction. I believe healing is rooted in understanding where you've been while keeping sight of where you want to go. I have extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate life.
