Hello! Thanks for stopping by- I have openings for adult clients Mondays and Wednesdays. Are you feeling like you are struggling to be the best version of yourself? Feeling stuck or hopeless, having family stress, life transition stress? I believe that everyone can benefit from counseling- even the most capable and healthy people can go through low or dark times which might require a little extra support. For those with more serious mental illnesses, these times can exacerbate existing struggles, making everything feel harder.

The uncertainty in the world today is intensifying many of our feelings of isolation, sadness, anxiety, and depression. New routines may be causing friction among family members who are working or learning from home. Stress levels are high, and lots of people are missing their old lives. It can all seem overwhelming at times. Would you like a safe place to talk through your feelings and learn new ways to cope?

Accepting new clients! Morning and afternoon availability. See below for groups that I offer. Ask about my self paced course. I've completed Yoga Alliance approved Yoga Teacher Training which I'll be incorporating into group work. I align well with young adult and adult clients who are experiencing life transitions and change, who require support with self esteem and managing stress, and who are motivated for counseling. From my experience, I've worked well with those who identify as givers and require assistance with self care and work/life balance. Come as you are and we will see if it’s a good fit.

Congratulations on your first step to finding help from whatever issue(s) you feel may be holding you back! Truth be told, there is a time in everyone's life when an outsider's perspective is helpful in reframing whatever it is we have going on. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I've had the pleasure of working with hundreds of individuals and families struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, family conflict, parentings issues, relationship problems and trauma.

As we recover from coronavirus restrictions and disruption of family routines, many kids are anxious with worries about school, missing friends, and not being able to enjoy their normal activities. Telehealth sessions as well as in-person visits are a way to offer support and to help both kids and parents talk about the challenges they are facing. The goal of sessions is to help family members develop positive coping strategies, enhance communication and build self-confidence during this challenging time. Sometimes kids need a neutral, outside person with whom to sort their feelings. Helping kids in this way is the focus of my work.
