I believe therapy is a joint venture. It takes both of us to create expertise about your unique psychology and spirit, and explore how that self-knowledge calls you. I am typically very active with you, suggesting interventions, offering ideas, giving "homework" between sessions. I'm experienced with depression, anxiety, trauma, post-trauma, sexuality, loss, and the search for meaning in life. These days, I see myself not only as a psychotherapist, but also as a teacher in Eastern Philosophies, especially the Tao. Nicole obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Boston College and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Prior to joining Recovering Champions, she served as the Executive Director at Spectrum Health Systems in Westboro, MA, where she managed and oversaw the operations of eight inpatient substance abuse treatment programs in Massachusetts.

My practice is client centered, focusing on assistance with goal setting and developing strategies together to help clients meet their individual goals. I work with individuals, couples and families assisting them in making changes that will promote their growth and satisfaction. In addition, I have been working with individuals who are experiencing grief and loss, anxiety and depression. Some of these issues are related to the pandemic, some of these issues have resurfaced due to the recent changes in our world.

Katie Twomey has been working at Paramount Recovery Centers since May 2022 as a Primary Therapist. Katie has worked in the mental health and addiction field since 2015. She received her Bachelor’s degree from UMass Boston in 2014 with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Communication Studies. She is also currently enrolled in the MSW program at Regis College, and her anticipated graduation date is December 2022.

My practice is currently closed to new clients. Dr. Sandy Dupcak is a licensed psychologist specializing in culturally sensitive treatment of individuals, families, and couples. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents. My treatment approach is tailored to the needs of my clients and can vary from psychodynamic to very active coaching. Furthermore, I am a practicing sport psychologist, working with athletes and coaches on issues of performance enhancement. I also have 9 years of executive coaching and leadership training.
