I work with women who want to explore and understand the impact of early childhood or traumatic experiences and how such experiences could contribute to anxiety, depression, low self esteem , relationships and potentially hinder them from accomplishing their life goals and/or the purpose God has for their life.
Life is hard. Period. Do you find life is pulling you in different directions leaving you stressed and overwhelmed? Maybe this shows up as you finding it hard to say "no" to others? Or you thinking that you are “never good enough” Or feeling lonely and isolated from your family, friends, or culture, such that you feel like no one understands you, no one really “gets” you? Or sometimes you do not feel like getting out of bed or want to do anything. Therapy with me is a space for you to explore ALL that is blocking you from being the best version of yourself. A place for you to realign, renew, live your best life, & flourish.

I work with adults who want to tackle the issues of anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem, transitions, and parenting. I find that a sense of humor helps in the therapeutic process and firmly believe that the client is the expert in their own life. My job, as I see it, is to listen to your story with an objective perspective, help you to examine and question existing behaviors and thought patterns, and assist you in developing new strategies to move your life in the direction you desire.

Relational issues are my focus. We are related to our birth families, our marriage or divorce families, our mates, children, peers, coworkers, and to our addictions and habits. My work connects the dots and helps one to see the where and why of the problem and to learn how to address it in a loving, healthy and healing way. Whether the conflict is between partners, parent and child, siblings or addictions, the goal is to mend the relationship and create positive self esteem . I surface the real issue through insightful and penetrating questions to illuminate the path to clarity and resolution.

Currently only accepting clients for short-term work, consultation, or parent coaching for eating disorder recovery...Thank you for taking the time to consider working with me and, more importantly, for taking the time to consider working on yourself. Through challenging times and times of personal growth, therapy can be an important support. I believe that we all deserve self-compassion, self-care, and the chance to feel good about who we are. I believe that everyone has the potential to learn how to accept themselves with all of their unique quirks and qualities in order to embrace a fuller, more joyful life.

You are brave for being here. You have done your best as a parent, and yet your child is still struggling. It hurts to see them beating themselves down, and selling themselves short when you know who they are at their best. You've heard them say "I'm not good enough," "no one understands me," or "things would be better if I weren't here." Maybe they've turned to self harm to manage their emotions. You want to protect them, help them heal, and show them the beauty you see when you look at them.

Self Esteem Therapists
Self-esteem lives on a spectrum: Not enough self-regard (or low self esteem) can lead people to become depressed, or to tolerate abusive situations and relationships. Too much self-love (or high self-esteem), results in an off-putting sense of entitlement and an inability to learn from failure. And it's occasionally a sign of clinical narcissism. Quite the opposite of being shy or shyness, yet still on the same spectrum.
