We all have ups and downs but when the depressed and anxious days outnumber the good ones, something’s wrong. When the fights outweigh the love in your relationship, something’s wrong. And when the bad memories outnumber the happy ones, it’s time to do something about it.

As a psychologist and psychoanalyst, I aim to help patients understand the trouble in their lives and make significant changes. I believe it is important to take the time to get to know patients' stories. My approach is both collaborative and challenging. Sometimes this involves helping people look at parts of themselves that are painful, or hard to see clearly. Many patients benefit from long-term, intensive therapy, while others find that shorter-term therapy helps them solve immediate problems.
