I am particularly interested in early attachments between children and their parents as these relationships reverberate throughout people's lives.

Setting aside time every week to reflect on your feelings offers a rich opportunity to sort through challenging experiences. I look forward to meeting you and helping you examine aspects of your life that you wish to understand more fully.

Sometimes the hardest step is reaching out for help when we need it. As a therapist, it is very important to me to provide a uniquely comfortable (and at times - fun!) approach to sessions. It can be difficult to talk about some of life's challenges, so my goal is to be there to help you through it - in a way that works and feels right for you.
We all have the tools within us to manage our mood, emotions, and relationships. My job is to empower you to identify and cultivate your strengths and interests to improve connections with yourself and others.

Your mind never stops. Lists, worries, what-ifs—and even when you’re busy all day, the most important things get left undone. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and feel weighed down by anxiety. ADHD makes follow-through harder than it should be, or old family patterns still leave you doubting yourself. On the outside you look accomplished and capable, but inside you’re anxious, scattered, and worn out. What you want is clarity, steadiness, and relief from the constant noise—so you can trust yourself and finally breathe.

Perhaps I can best summarize my therapy approach by saying that therapy is an invitation to dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing" and "to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away". Taking the courageous step to engage in a journey of inner exploration for the purpose of remapping ourselves, re-assess our limiting beliefs,re organizing our interpersonal ways of relating, and understanding/fulfilling our life's purpose. You'll chisel out the best version of you.

The human mind is amazing. At every moment, we are experiencing a complicated mix of emotions, thoughts, sensations, and memories. We notice some of these, but most we do not. Emotions, in particular, are often perceived only vaguely, or they can seem mysterious, foreign, or out of our control. Contemporary neuropsychologists have found that the decisions that we make are much more influenced by emotions, some of which are out of our awareness, than they are by our rational thoughts.

Over the years, I’ve found that real, meaningful change happens when you have a space where you feel truly seen and understood. If you’re feeling pulled in different directions—trying to meet expectations while staying connected to who you are therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of it all.
I’m Adi, licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can pause, listen inwardly, and explore what feels stuck or heavy. We’ll sort through your experiences, understand what’s beneath the surface, and work toward growth, healing, and a deeper connection with yourself and others.

I believe that most children and adolescents can benefit from connecting with another adult to help them sort through their struggles, even short-term. Working in schools for over 20 years has taught me how to work collaboratively with all the people in your child's life to help them to achieve success. I am able to see the "whole child" as a result, and treat accordingly. I have found that child and adolescent therapists are few and far between, and I hope to be a resource to you.

The emotional connection between you and your partner has diminished. The intimacy, the fun, and the joy seem to have gone away. Conflict has increased with little or no resolution. A feeling of loneliness has taken residence in the relationship. The demands of your careers and life, in general, seem to leave little time and energy to invest in each other. Both of you are often overwhelmed, feel alone, and have your feelings ignored by one another. You fluctuate between feeling angry and sad. “When did we lose our connection, and how can we get it back?” you wonder.

Whether it is betrayal, addiction, parenting challenges, resentment, or poor communication that needs to be addressed, I work collaboratively to understand how previous relational dynamics, especially with families of origin, contribute to current behaviors and coping skills.
I use relationship-informed therapeutic modalities, including attachment theory, family systems theory, the Gottman couples method, Imago communication tools, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I am a licensed psychotherapist and psychoanalyst with decades of experience helping individuals and couples navigate emotional pain and build lives of deeper connection and meaning. In my practice, I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space for those seeking not just symptom relief, but genuine, lasting transformation.
At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change comes from exploring the ties between our present struggles and the formative experiences that shape who we are. This process can open the door to greater insight, emotional freedom, and a stronger sense of agency

My ideal clients are neurodiverse individuals (ADHD/autistic), who have done therapy or are currently engaged in therapy and have gained insight but still feel stuck implementing change. Using a trauma-informed, affirming approach that blends behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and somatic strategies. I help clients regulate overwhelm, build self-trust, and create sustainable habits aligned with their true passions.

You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, or depression that makes it difficult to stay present, manage relationships, or adapt to important life or career transitions. Many clients describe feeling trapped in cycles of overthinking, weighed down by “what ifs,” or struggling to meet constant demands. Using CBT, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, understand the link between emotions and behavior, and practice strategies that reduce distress and restore a sense of control. Our work focuses on breaking entrenched patterns, strengthening resilience and clarifying goals, so you can move forward with greater balance.

Using a collaborative, practical approach, I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, couple problems, parenting concerns (early childhood and adolescence), ACOA issues and the more general impact of childhood stressors on adult development.
Throughout almost 35 years as a clinical psychologist, I've been impressed that the emotional suffering affecting us all, at times, has such universal causes. Insecurities and shame connected to childhood experiences over which we've had no control can take root, damaging self-esteem and emerging in symptoms of depression, anxiety and self-destructive behavior patterns. Even without overwhelming childhood stressors, feelings of inadequacy, and once self-protective, now limiting "chains" of feeling/thinking/reacting can interfere with realizing dreams, weathering losses and meeting new life challenges in the areas of love and work.

As a psychoanalytically trained therapist, my work is grounded in a belief that our present difficulties are often shaped by unconscious patterns, early relationships, and internal conflicts. This deserves careful exploration than quick resolutions.
Because we all come from different life backgrounds, therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Treatment comes as effective when individualized and shaped through reciprocal interaction and collaboration as a team.
