I believe therapy is more than managing symptoms; it is an intentional practice of self-reflection that fosters clarity. In today’s world, we often have the right words to describe our pain, but knowing "therapy lingo" is not the same as finding true healing. I prioritize a strong therapeutic alliance as the foundation for shifting from intellectualizing your life to actually experiencing it. Together, we bring curiosity to "stuck" patterns and beliefs, improving the relationship with yourself and others. By bridging the gap between your inner world and your daily life, we work toward lasting transformation.

Most of us are doing the best we can with the resources we have—yet there are times when our usual ways of coping no longer feel effective. You may find yourself feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, angry, or depressed, and unsure how to move forward. It can also feel isolating, as though no one truly understands your worries or fears. I offer compassionate, evidence‑based therapy focused on helping people build meaningful and fulfilling lives.

I work with children and families who are navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Many of the families I support come to my practice seeking guidance around parenting, behavior management, disabilities, trauma, and other mental health concerns impacting their child or family system. With over 15 years of experience as a mental health specialist, I have worked closely with children, parents, and teachers to better understand each child’s unique needs and environment. Families often reach out when they feel overwhelmed, unsure how to support their child, or are looking for practical strategies

Perhaps you’ve tried a few therapists and weren't able to connect. Maybe you never saw yourself represented, or that therapy felt too manualized. You’ve pushed off therapy for a while now, not because you're too prideful to get the support you need, but because the help you are looking for hasn’t centered your beliefs, identity(ies) and understanding of well-being. You want support that centers all of who you are, and you are looking for authentic, experienced care that can help you gain clarity, confidence, and contentment.

About Motherhood
Psychologist, PsyD
Online Only
This practice is based upon the reality that a mother’s wellbeing cannot be understood or supported without respect for her “mom work.” Mom work is invisible work. So - mom worry, mom anxiety, mom blues, mom guilt, and most especially, mom anger, becomes a negative judgment of a mother's "normalcy," rather than what it truly is: mom reality. Not a diagnosis, not “what’s wrong with me,” not an inability to do the work. Just mom reality, unsupported by respect for her work, and ultimately, unsustainable. Unless we push back to reclaim this ancient journey. You may wish to glance at my website to explore what I mean by this.

Therapist With a Sense of Humor - Reach Out Anyway! Workaholic by choice, dog mama by heart. Seven days a week, fueled by hustle, humor, and Pitbull cuddles. Yes, I chose this life. No, I still don't understand why. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in MA & NY, 25+ years deep. I work with the complex, high-acuity stuff that takes real depth to hold: mood and psychotic disorders, PTSD, DID, and the full neurodivergent spectrum (ADHD, OCD, and autism). I share my world with a blind Pitbull - resilience in the flesh, more confident than me even after three espressos. He's the heart behind the hustle.

Deciding to see a therapist requires awareness and regard for oneself. I have deep respect for what has brought you here, and this will form the foundation of our work together. Perhaps you seek therapy now because of a crisis that is presenting new challenges or bringing up old, unresolved problems. Or you now feel ready to address a long-standing pattern that has caused much difficulty and pain over time. These burdens may be affecting not only your relationships with others but also how you relate to yourself. My job is to help you expand your capacity for what you can do alone.
