Welcome and glad you're here! Many women come to therapy feeling exhausted from carrying too much for too long. They may be struggling with overwhelming anxiety, heavy depression, relationship challenges, low self-worth or the lingering effects of difficult life experiences. Often they have spent years putting others' needs before their own and feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I work with young professionals, mothers, caretakers, and women in mid-life to better understand themselves and break free from these patterns.

The desire to know and to be known is a normal human experience. I value the trauma-informed safety and client-centered connection we collaboratively create through a systematic lens. I am particularly sensitive to diversity in culture and self-identity, including with respect to race, gender and sexuality. I believe the importance of affirming the unique individual experience with cultural humility. Through compassion, sensitivity, and empowerment, we will work together respectfully to acknowledge vulnerability, unearth patterns, attend complexity, and gain ownership change to achieve the most authentic and expansive self.

My clinic prioritizes medical professionals and people of color (to work on healing racial trauma) Working with a diverse population for many years widens my appreciation toward everyone I encounter. Learning from years of valuable experience, I do not take a blueprint or “one-size-fits-all” approach. Every client has an individualized curriculum. No matter what the challenge brings, I will help you in managing a complex post-pandemic life and strengthening your relationships.

You might be doing your best to keep things together, but inside you feel overwhelmed or unlike yourself. I often work with women who are adjusting to new motherhood, coping with postpartum anxiety or depression, or trying to make sense of a difficult birth experience. Others come to me carrying old trauma or grief that still affects their daily lives. You may feel tired, anxious, disconnected, or unsure about how to move forward. You just want to feel steady and like yourself again.
