You are the one who holds everything together. You anticipate needs before they are spoken. You say yes when your body says no. You manage emotions in the room. You keep the peace at work in relationships and in your family. Inside you feel exhausted anxious and quietly resentful but slowing down feels unsafe. If you are an IFS manager part who learned that being helpful perfect and agreeable was the way to survive you are not broken. Your nervous system adapted brilliantly and it is tired.

I find that most people who come to my office are in distress, and they want to feel better. First we try to ease the distress; then we try to understand more about what is causing it. Few things help more in this process than a relationship with a trusted and helpful advisor. Problems such as anxiety, loss, depression, poor self esteem, and difficulty in complex relationships can be solved given the right mix of time, talk, and support. Most people I see are grateful for the relief and valuable insight they gain into their own situations.

Excessive pornography use can eat away at the foundation of trust in relationships, leaving your partner feeling deeply hurt and inadequate. How can something so common and seemingly benign be so hard to control? It starts with casual screen use for work that morphs effortlessly into social media, then adult content, cam sites, or OnlyFans. This is especially challenging for ambitious men used to figuring things out alone. I’m not just a professional; I’ve been in your shoes and know the cost to your integrity when this goes unaddressed. If you're tired of this cycle, there is a clear path out.

Using a psychoanalytic approach, we will bring to light the driving forces behind the repetitive behaviors that tend to keep us attached to repeated outcomes.
A working artist myself, I especially like to help creative persons - Artists, Adolescents with creative potential (often stifled by mainstream education), as well as those who have gone through to adulthood without ever experiencing creative fulfillment, to become unblocked and have access to their fullest creative expression and potential.

Your brain is the command center for your emotions and your thoughts dictate your reality; this is why my approach focuses on positive psychology and the impactful use of gratitude and positive thinking habits. Due to neuroplascity, unwanted behavior and conditioned responses can be changed by retraining the brain through corrective thinking techniques, sensory input changes through somatic practice and the calming effects of mindfully being in the present moment, just to name a few.

You may feel small, invisible, or dismissed—like your voice gets lost in the noise of everyone else’s needs. You’ve worked hard to keep it all together, but inside, there’s a quiet exhaustion. Maybe you grew up feeling like you had to shrink yourself to be accepted. Or maybe the world just hasn’t made space for your full story. My ideal client is someone who knows deep down that their mental health matters but isn’t sure where to begin. They may be struggling with anxiety, low self-worth, burnout, trauma, or simply the ache of not being truly seen.

My clients come to therapy with a desire to better understand themselves, their patterns, and the implicit beliefs they hold about themselves and the world. They are deep thinkers and feelers with a great appreciation for humor as part of the therapeutic process. They are often striving to become (and befriend) the best version of themselves. Together, we balance insights and perspectives with tools that guide transformation and growth.

My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy within a trauma-informed, relational framework.
Life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect, and it can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or isolating. We all go through experiences that can be difficult to navigate alone, and extra support can make a difference. I work with adults navigating stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and relational difficulties, as well as challenges related to immigration and questions of identity. I also support expecting parents and parents of young children around early development and caregiving. I offer a safe, collaborative space to process difficult emotions, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful change.
