I have extensive experience treating individuals with depression , anxiety, attention deficit disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, as well as eating disorders.
As a therapist, I provide individual, couples and family therapy to adolescents and adults. I work in a collaborative, non-judgmental manner that aims to promote positive change within a person's life. After a comprehensive assessment, I utilize a variety of approaches including psychodynamic (focused on developing insight) and cognitive behavioral (focused on understanding the thoughts and behaviors that shape experience) based on individual need. Through therapy that respects the complexities of each individual's life, I strive for my clients to develop a deep understanding of themselves that will enable long lasting growth.

I especially enjoy working with young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression , and relationship/family stress.
When faced with life’s unavoidable stressors, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. The struggles of day to day life can often leave individuals feeling frustrated, hopeless, and powerless to work towards change. I enjoy helping clients feel understood and overcome fears that have been preventing them from living life to its fullest. Sometimes simply knowing that the worst case scenario won’t destroy us makes a daunting goal seem more attainable.

I have expertise in assessing and treating a range of conditions, particularly trauma, depression , and anxiety.
If your child or teen is struggling with low mood, anxiety, or adjusting to difficult circumstances, you're looking for a caring, skilled clinician who can help. As a licensed psychologist, I will listen to your family's story for strengths, challenges, and themes in order to develop a thoughtful, individualized treatment plan. I have found that building strong, trusting relationships with both patients and their caregivers is essential to successful outcomes in therapy. I will work one-on-one with your child, and collaborate with you to translate what we are doing in therapy into home, school, and beyond.

I treat individuals affected by a range of problems, including depression , anxiety, and stress.
When the demands of our lives become overwhelming, we can feel trapped and powerless in our suffering. Often, we then seek to avoid or ignore our emotional pain, rather than address it. In my work as a clinical psychologist, I strive to help individuals approach their experiences in a way that reduces suffering and promotes health. With a genuine, compassionate, and collaborative therapy style, I work with adults to reconnect with their values and increase the sense of ease in their lives. My approach is strongly rooted in mindfulness-based therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

We will remain stuck in the same old patterns of anxiety, depression , fear, anger.
Hello! My name is Erica Bradley. I am a LICSW in the state of Massachusetts. I have been a social worker for about 6 years and have worked in some form of human services for 15 years. After getting a bachelor's degree in public health and going to work in a group home for developmentally disabled adults I realized the need for more social workers. During graduate school I interned in a hospice, which was both incredibly challenging and rewarding. I then interned in an primary care office providing therapy. Following graduation with my MSW I went to work in the male, State-Prison System.

I specialize in treatment of anxiety and depression , substance abuse and relationship difficulties.
To make the decision to enter therapy, whatever your reasons, requires courage and persistence. Maybe you are feeling stuck in your current circumstances or frustrating behavior patterns. Or maybe you struggle with anxiety or depression , or wrestle with the pain of some kind of trauma or abuse. I believe we all are meant to grow and develop; and that some life events or relationships can throw up roadblocks to that natural process of growth. I believe that the combination of insight and hard work with a compassionate and experienced therapist can be very healing and yes, life changing.

I have vast experience helping clients learn to manage their symptoms of anxiety, depression and disordered eating as well navigating relationship issues and life transitions.
My clients range from young adults to people in middle age. Most of my clients seek therapy when they become overwhelmed by a personal life challenge. Many aspects of their lives may be going smoothly, but they struggle in other areas: could be the academic rigors of college, a complicated relationship with a romantic partner, how to handle work stress or parenting issues. Whatever the reason, my clients hope for a therapist who creates a safe space for them to talk openly about their struggle, someone to help them gain new perspective and to partner with them to help alleviate the emotional pain caused by their difficulty.

The decision to see a therapist can be a difficult one, as many people feel ashamed that they can't resolve issues on their own. Clients who come seeking help from me generally feel stuck in some areas of their lives. They often feel depressed and anxious. They are struggling in their careers, they are having problems in relationships, they are having difficulty adjusting to a new stage in life, and they may be trying to discover their place in the world. They repeatedly engage in self-defeating patterns and becoming involved in relationships that are ultimately unsatisfying.

I specialize in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression , and addiction.
I am looking to work with people who are not satisfied with how things are in their life, and ready to take control in order for their lives to improve. In addition to actively listening and problem solving, I coach individuals to activate specific techniques designed to be applied throughout their daily lives. It is in the hands of the individual to apply these skills in order to reach their goals. If an individual is not quite there, we'll work together to figure out what's blocking their potential.

I have extensive experience dealing with issues of relationship conflict, depression , anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief & loss, and spirituality.
I am licensed to practice in MA, NY, RI, and ME, and am available for virtual sessions. I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining insight and skills-based frameworks. I help clients understand how their past experiences and relationships shaped and influence who they are now and how they experience the world (insight), and I help them develop tools for addressing current life situations and for putting that insight to work in moving their lives in the direction they want (skills-based). This approach helps clients link the past which formed them, the present they are living in, and the future they wish to experience.

Depression Therapists
Depressive disorders are characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and worthlessness and a lack of desire to engage in formerly pleasurable activities. Depression is not a passing blue mood, which almost everyone experiences from time to time, but a complex mind/body illness that interferes with everyday functioning. It not only darkens one's outlook, it is commonly marked by sleep problems and changes in energy levels and appetite. It alters the structure and function of nerve cells so that it disrupts the way the brain processes information and interprets experience.

Despite feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness, depression is a treatable condition. It can be treated with psychotherapy. As with many illnesses, the earlier treatment begins, the more effective it can be and the greater the likelihood that recurrence can be prevented.

Psychotherapy addresses the thinking patterns that precipitate depression, and studies show that it prevents recurrence. Drug therapy is often helpful in relieving symptoms, such as severe anxiety, so that people can engage in meaningful psychotherapy.
