You might find yourself stuck in cycles of overthinking, avoiding things that matter to you, or feeling weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, or major life transitions. I help people navigating anxiety, OCD, phobias, identity, relationships, and specialize in working with students pre-college through early career.
I put a lot of emphasis on building a genuine connection and getting to know you first - because therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself. From there, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck and work together to build practical, sustainable ways of coping that actually fit your life.

You may be feeling overwhelmed by stress and anxiety - whether it’s from external demands or internal struggles. Maybe it's social anxiety, "a life transition," or healing from trauma. Or maybe it's something more general, like you want to feel more "in control" of your emotions…and your life. I can help. Together, we’ll uncover the roots of your challenges, empowering you to move forward - with skill and confidence. I use “treatments that work” (CBT, DBT, mindfulness, etc). But we’ll find what works for YOU. Lastly, I don’t just want you to just “feel better.” I want you to live your best life. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

In my practice, I often meet with adults, adolescents, families, and couples who struggle with their feelings, partner or family relationships, finding their place in the society, or just feeling too overwhelmed to deal with everyday life. Inability to cope with these kind of issues over a period of time often results in depression, anxiety or another mental disorder that disrupts healthy lives.

You're the person everyone else counts on. At work, in your relationships, in every room you walk into. And yet, despite everything you accomplish, something won't let up: intrusive thoughts, anxiety that shadows every decision, the exhaustion of never fully switching off. Many of the people I work with are outwardly successful and privately carrying more than anyone around them knows. I provide a confidential, focused, and evidence-based space designed to support clarity, emotional stability, and meaningful, lasting change in both personal and professional life.

What is the most effective treatment for hoarding?
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) has been well-studied in the treatment of hoarding. This type of therapy includes changing beliefs surrounding possessions, as well as learning how to discard items and reduce acquisitions. The hoarder may also gain much-needed organizational skills. Another useful therapy may be compassion-focused therapy, which can address emotion regulation and negative self-perception.
How long does therapy for hoarding take?
Although treatment can vary, most people demonstrate improvement after 23 sessions, with some showing improvement after just a few sessions. Researchers have developed a 26-session cognitive behavioral program. People who hoard may need “maintenance” sessions over the years if the problem arises repeatedly.
Are there medications for hoarding?
The more commonly-prescribed medications for hoarding are including antidepressants, including selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). This can include drugs such as venlafaxine and paroxetine. And because hoarding disorder is related to obsessive-compulsive disorder, medications for OCD, such as clomipramine, may be effective for hoarding as well.
Can hoarding come back after treatment?
Hoarding is a chronic disorder and it can last throughout an individual’s lifetime. Regularly checking in with a psychotherapist can help manage symptoms long-term. A good therapist will help the person learn needed skills including decision-making, organization, and stress reduction. The patient will gain a better perspective and the need to cling to useless items will lessen.
