About
Hello! I am clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience. Trained as a generalist, I have worked across diverse settings, including community health, the VA healthcare system, inpatient and residential settings, and various educational settings. I am also bilingual and bicultural and provide services in English and Spanish to adolescents and adults. I have extensive training in evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (https://acceleratedresolutiontherapy.com/).
I take a relational, client-centered approach to psychotherapy & strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative environment where you can be empowered to create positive change and to live a better and more meaningful life. My interests lie in trauma-focused treatment, interpersonal systems based work, couples psychotherapy, and acculturation issues.
I am a member of the Connecticut Psychological Association (CPA) and the International Society of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (IS-ART).
