Whatever reason brought you here, I hope you stay. I started One Eighty Counseling because I yearned to create a counseling practice that focused on open, kind communication and acceptance. I wanted my own corner of the world where people could truly come as they are. This means that my clients, their families, and their stories could be acknowledged without judgement or fear, and most importantly without rejection. In my practice, I work best with individuals who are looking for a long-term therapeutic relationship to work on struggles over time. I work through a person-centered lens where I believe you are the expert on you.
Some fun, yet still professional tidbits about me: I am a snacker by nature. I'd rather have snacks over a meal any day. I love to dance to any music and TikTok is my jam. My favorite color switches between rainbow and glitter (yes, both are a color- we don't discriminate around here!). I can do the laundry all day long, but unload the dishwasher? No way.
Ultimately, I believe that each individual is worthy of love, acceptance, and kindness, no matter their story. It is my job to create a safe space to process, support, and explore with you. Having my own practice has been a dream of mine and I am so honored you stopped by. Reach out to me! I can't wait to hear your view of the world.
