I'm passionate about working with folks of marginalized identities who seek a therapist with similar lived experience. My main areas of interest include gender identity, disability/illness, neuroemergence, perfectionism, dissociation, trauma, and sexuality and relationships (including non-monogamy, kink, and sex work). I enjoy supporting other therapists, caregivers, and academics/scholars. I'm also invested in serving other folks living with Septad Super Syndrome. Those who are drawn to working with me often identify as radicals, misfits, outsiders, and cycle breakers.
I am a feminist therapist, and my approach is insight, depth, and systems oriented. I’m primarily influenced by liberation psychology, existentialist and contemplative philosophy, and harm reduction principles. I'm also trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR and Brainspotting, and I'm currently working on my CCTP trauma certification.
My style is curious, genuine, and tenderhearted. I'm down-to-earth and easygoing, but I'm direct and won’t shy away from difficult topics. I love stories, metaphors, and riddles, and I like to use humor to add levity to conversation. I often use books, workbooks, somatic and narrative exercises, podcasts, art, music, and journaling to supplement my work too.
