I'm passionate about working with multiply marginalized folks who seek a therapist with similar lived experience. My main areas of interest include trauma, gender identity, disability/illness/pain, neuroemergence, perfectionism, dissociation, & sexuality & relationships (including non-monogamy, kink, & sex work). I especially enjoy supporting other therapists, caregivers, & academics. I'm also invested in serving folks living with Long COVID, Complex Chronic Disease, Stealth Syndromes, HIV, & Pentad Super Syndrome. Those who are drawn to working with me often identify as radicals, misfits, outsiders, & cycle breakers.
I use feminist & narrative interventions to translate awareness into actionable change. My integrative approach is insight, depth, & systems oriented, & I’m influenced by liberation psychology, contemplative philosophy, & harm reduction. I also practice Somatic & Attachment Focused EMDR & Brainspotting, & I'm in Pain Reprocessing Therapy training.
Our sessions will be pragmatic & easygoing, but I’m direct & won’t shy away from difficult topics. I love stories, metaphors, & riddles, & I like to incorporate humor to add levity to conversation. I often use books, podcasts, art, music, writing, & gentle movement to supplement my work too.
