That idea you have in your head about what therapy is and that picture of what a therapist is supposed to be-yeah THAT one-it isn’t like that here. If you've tried therapy before and HATED it, if you're ready to make moves in your life, ready to get real and own your shit, or if you need a safe space to dump with a REAL person that doesn’t give a shit what it is you did or think you did, let me introduce myself. I prefer to see adults but I will make exceptions for adolescents age 16 and over, provided they pass the vibe check. We do real talk here and nothing less-unadulterated authenticity and I will not cosign your bullshit.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Drug and Alcohol Studies as well a Master of Science degree in Clinical Counseling with a Military and Trauma Certification from East Carolina University. (Don't worry, I can't believe I'm a therapist either.)

I prefer the 'Mr. Miyagi' approach to therapy-I pull from multiple different theoretical perspectives. Once you get the hang of 'wax-on, wax-off' change will already be happening, young grasshopper.
