Are you weary of feeling lonely, tired, sad? A special strength of mine is healing connections--connections between people as well as personal connections to the inner self--whether I see you in a couple, a family, or as an individual.
I have skill and experience with emotionally frayed or wounded people--who often present with anxiety, depression, anger, and/or relationship difficulties--guiding them towards healing and growth. My gentle, caring style evokes a calm, hopeful response as you learn how to be true to yourself, and to be heard and understood by others.
I work creatively with a combination of talk therapy and techniques that can engage non-language parts of your brain. When words are inadequate to convey a thought, feeling or desired change, other avenues can be useful. Included are emotion regulation practices; the use of symbols; art & play techniques; therapeutic hypnosis.
