I am currently providing individual therapy through telehealth (virtually) to adult clients located in the state of Maryland. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and client-centered. My goal is to empower my clients with information and resources. I believe so much about the therapeutic process is the between session work that my clients do, with implementing their skills and coping mechanisms in the real world, so I do assign "homework". To schedule a free 15-min consultation to see if we would be a good fit you can do that through my website as that is the best way to get in touch with me: soulhealingspaces(dot)com/about.
My approach is eclectic as I draw from a wide variety of theories and interventions including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT), attachment theory (Emotionally Focused Therapy), parts work (IFS), Brainspotting, and mindfulness-based interventions. I also provide preparation and integration for Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
I understand that trying out a new therapist is tough, and it takes time to build trust. I also know that studies have shown that the most important factor in predicting therapeutic outcomes is the strength of the therapeutic relationship. Given that, I offer free consultation calls as I know that the feeling that the "vibe is right" is SUPER important!
