As a therapist I have been counseling children, adolescents and young adults in the Kalamazoo area for more than 21 years. My expertise is helping clients and families deal with depression and anxiety, skill-building, improving relationships and communication, healing from trauma and building on each individual’s personal strengths. I believe an integrative approach is best practice, tailored to each client. My goal as a therapist is to work together with clients, using creative and engaging activities, all in a safe, relaxed and non-judgmental setting to achieve their goals.
I have previously worked at Child & Family Psychological Services (CFPS) from 2019-2024 and prior to that, 17 years with the Community Healing Center (2003-2018). I have worked with children thru adults during this time. With over 21 years experience in the community, I bring an extensive background for those seeking services.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and friends/family. Most of my free time is spent outside, whether running and training for races, hiking in the National Parks across the United States, playing at the beach or camping. Traveling, photography, international food/cooking are all parts of what brings joy to our days.
